Charlie was an absolute gem. Accommodated a late check in without issue. Wonderful room and location was gorgeous. Watched the sunset across the road and ventured through the beaches close by in the morning. Highly recommend!!

Owner was charming, that was a first paying for our stay (off season) in the owners home front foyer. Accessible to the community and beaches within short walking distance- pub adjacency for a beverage/meal.

I loved everything about this property. The owner, the colours of the building are so sharp, the rooms are great, clean, quiet and comfy. Great restaurant in front of the hotel and the water on the other side with a beautiful beach. Thanks so much also for accommodating my mistake on the booking. That shows the true Cape Breton hospitality.

We appreciated that the location was pet friendly with a very reasonable deposit ($10, I believe). Also the staff were very welcoming to human and dog guests!
